I fell like an old fart right now…but in October I will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary. Yes 25 years…a milestone!
I am so blessed and fortunate to have Paul in my life. I can’t say it’s all been easy, there are ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade any minute in for anything else.
The reason I bring this up is on our anniversary we want to drink a 25 year old wine….so a wine from the vintage 1988.
Of course we weren’t Wino’s back then. Actually I was into Vodka and he Scotch. That all changed in the ’90’s when the Doctor told him to lay off the Scotch and switch to wine. A wise choice that was and the beginning of our wine journey that continues today.
I am reaching out to all of you to recommend a wine from the 1988 vintage. We were thinking of Burgundy or Bordeaux but are open to suggestions. Even a Vintage Port to end the evening with.
Please when you suggest, if there is a place of purchase, include that as well.
