What is The Victory Cup? The Victory Cup began with Greg Ball back when he was a New York Senator.  He founded it as an annual political fundraiser.  Now that Greg has returned to the private sector, the Victory Cup lives on and is held every year to benefit various charities. To date approximately $25,000 has been raised and donated through the Victory Cup. 

 

This years event benefits Green Chimneys who has been helping children with emotional behavioral and social challenges maximize their potential. Programs give them a chance to explore and discover their strengths in a supportive environment that nurtures connections with their families, community, animals and nature.  They are recognized as a worldwide leader in animal-assisted therapy and educational activities for children with special needs.

What can you expect when you attend? Come ready to party! Enjoy the day with you family, check out the classic cars, watch the polo match. There will be food and wine tastings.  Savor a delectable farm to table meal (additional add on to the tickets) prepared by Chef Rich Parents of Clock Tower Grill on the polo field after the match with the polo players.

What to wear? That is always a question, especially when attending an event for the first time. You will see everything from jeans and flip flops to people dressed up and ladies with their fancy hats and sundresses. Remember you are outdoors in grass and unpaved areas, so make sure your foot wear is appropriate and comfortable.  Have fun, accessorize. Ladies wear the hat you had picked out for the Kentucky Derby. It’s all about having fun!
